The Easter weekend saw the return of Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival in the first of 4 annual events celebrating all things culinary in the area.
The whole of New Road was a hive of bustling activity all weekend with a huge array of food and drink stalls offering tasty delicacies from all over the world.
Despite the less than ideal weather at times, there was a great turnout from foodie types from far and wide, all keen on sampling the very best of what Sussex and the surrounding area has to offer.
Here at Pinocchio, we decorated our outdoor seating area in Italian bunting and opened the doors to the hungry crowds.
Pinocchio was busy throughout the Easter weekend, as visitors to the festival used the restaurant to grab a quick bite to eat before heading back out to the food stalls. Our famous pizza and pasta dishes were extremely popular, as was our great value 2-course special – starting at just £7.95pp.
We also got plenty of chance to showcase our newly revamped wine selection – Our award-winning supplier, Eurowines, launched a whole new range of wines late last year. The new wine list at Pinocchio carries a huge range of wines from selected vineyards in every corner of Italy. We also stock a comprehensive range of new world wines, along with sparkling wines and champagnes.
If you missed Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival – don’t worry! The event returns to Brighton in a little over a month’s time, commencing 20th May and running until 1st June.
Of course, if you missed a visit to Pinocchio there is no need to wait at all. We’re open 7 days a week, 11:30am – 11:00pm serving delicious Italian food and drink. Reservations are not always necessary, but can be made via our online reservation system, or by calling us directly on (01273) 677676.
