This coming Saturday, the magnificent Rufus Wainwright heads to the Brighton Dome for an unforgettable performance. Hailing from the US, the American-Canadian singer-songwriter and composer will bring his intoxicating mix of baroque pop, cabaret, and opera to the Dome’s concert Hall.
Known as one of the great male vocalists and songwriters of his generation, the singer-songwriter has released a collection of critically acclaimed studio albums and collaborated with artists ranging from Elton John, David Byrne, Mark Ronson, Joni Mitchell to Burt Bacharach. Since his arrival in the late 90’s, Wainwright has gone on to win numerous Juno awards and was also nominated for Best International Male Artist at the 2008 Brit Awards.
On the back of releasing Take All My Loves: 9 Shakespeare Sonnets, the unique vocalist will perform a selection of songs from his diverse catalogue.
