Bill Kenwright’s stage production of All Creatures Great and Small begins a 5-show run at Brighton Theatre Royal today, with some famous TV names featuring in the impressive looking cast list.
Coronation Street’s Oliver Mellor takes the play’s lead as country vet, James Herriot and is flanked by fellow TV stars Clare Buckfield (2point4 Children), Susan Penhaligon (Bouquet of Barbed Wire) and Mark Curry (Blue Peter). Steps singer Lee Latchford-Evans also appears as Tristan Farnon.
Simon Stallworthy has adapted this show for the stage from Herriot’s books and the classic BBC TV series. The show debuted at Windsor Theatre Royal in May and received excellent reviews. We’re very excited to see this show arrive in Brighton and we can’t wait to take it in.
